To be fair to this games graphics, the hi-res(320x200) mode they use here uses Spectrum style attribute clash with 2 colours per 8x8 background block and 1 per sprite. In multi-colour mode(same rules, but 4 colours per background block and 3 colours per sprite) you only get a screen resolution of 160x200. Maybe they felt the extra pixels was worth the lack of colour.

I can confirm that this video accurately reflects the show from that time; the editor did an excellent job assembling it. However, it feels a bit too linear-I wouldn't be surprised if British Rail had a hand in it's design.
